With every pet picture, we will also try and write a little piece about this special pet. So, if you would like to send us a picture of your special doggie, or wolf or wolf hybrid, please include a few words to tell us more about your beloved pet.
Thank you Diane, for sending us Sugar Girls beautiful pictures!
This picture is just one of the many that have been given to us by Mary Wesselius and we are proud to show this special dog here in Your Pet Pictures. Mary has one beautiful, big and most of all sweet sled dog named Faolan, which is Gaelic for Little Wolf, or Woolfie as Mary lovingly likes to call him. Faolan is a cross breed of a Husky and an Alaskan Malamute and I have had the pleasure to meet Faolan in person and admire his beauty and loving nature from real close. Faolan loves to greet people by putting his big front paws on their shoulders, looks them straight in the eyes while he gives them a slobbery kiss. He came to Mary about two years ago from a dog pound and has been her faithful companion ever since.
We would like to thank Mary for giving us this beautiful picture to add to our website.
Allow us to introduce Tank. Claudia and Joe Carlo are the proud owners of this amazing and so sweet mixed breed Wolf. Tank has the blood of a Timber Wolf and a Tundra Wolf running through its veins and is the first Wolf that has been added to Your Pet Pictures. He came to the Carlos family by a fluke. The previous owner had to let go of Tank as he was starting to challenge the Alfa leader of his wolf pack and Claudia and Joe and their kids took him in and gave him a loving home. Tank is kind of a rascal and is definitely the leader of the other dogs owned by Claudia and Joe. This picture is proof of Tank stealing some slices of bread from the breakfast table. We cant wait to shake paws with this magnificent Wolf.
Thanks Claudia and Joe for sending us your pictures.
There are already a few pictures of April aka our Little Stinky to be found in other pages, but those have been taken when she was still pretty young. Today we are adding one more to Your Pet Pictures, one that has been taken recently and finally shows Stinky doing high fives with Dave. He started doing high fives with her and she picked up on this so easily just as she did when Dave taught here to wave bye. She just sits up in Daves chair with her paws against the back of the chair and does the cutest bye byes, but she simply ignores him and refuses to do bye byes when she is not in the mood. She definitely has a mind of her own and really does not allow us to do with her what we like. A couple of weeks ago we got her some clips to keep her long hair out of her eyes but she decided she did not like them and kept at it till the darned thing was laying dead on the floor, hidden under a chair where we found it back after a few days. She has become quite a protector, but her bark is a lot worse than her bite cause whenever anyone comes over to see us she will be the first one to give them a warm lengthy welcome.
Kyra is not only gorgeous, but she is also a very sweet and loving Flat Coated Retriever that lives with Nathalie, Mandy and Aaron. She does remind Nathalie and me so much of our beloved Sandy, the blonde Lab that we got as a little puppy of only 6 weeks old when Nathalie was in her early teens. Nathalie got Kyra through an ad on the internet. A breeder wanted to get rid of her and Nathalie and Mandy and Aaron are the lucky ones who get to live with this magnificent creature. Kyra must be around 4 years old now and is still very lively and playful, very cuddly and can put up with anything from Mandy and Aaron. When Aaron is playing outside she has to be there to watch over him. It was such a great pleasure to meet this very special and beautiful dog.
Our thanks to Nathalie for letting us take these pictures.
About 1.5 years ago, Chris Veal adopted a little black puppy from the local Humane Society. Here is what he told us about not only about her, but also about Ozi, the Jack Russell mix of which you also find a picture here.
Her name was May, but it just did not fit without adding Sadie to it. I was told that Sadie May was an Australian Shepherd mix. As Sadie May grew, the lack of Australian Shepherd was obvious, and it made me curious. Going through a couple of sure bets (?), I came to think that she may be a Kelpie mix. No matter what she is, she is a great companion. She loves to chomp on pig ears and frolics with a little Jack Russell mix, named Ozi that my Aussie girlfriend, now fiance, adopted last year.
Thank you Chris for sending us these beautiful pictures and for granting us a little peep in your life with two great dogs.
These are the pictures that Patricia Gwen sent us of her very special dog Pumpkin. A little bit more about Pumpkin in Patricias own words.
Pumpkin is a hearing dog, I am deaf and she was specially trained as a service dog from the International Hearing Dog Inc. from Denver, Colorado. She is so smart and so good. She is with me 27/7, work, school, shopping, doctors appointments and she just made her 348 time flying with me. My sons are airline pilots and I have flying benefit, so Pumpkin get to fly everywhere I go and sits with me. She is so awesome.
Patricia, we thank you for sending us these awesome pictures. We just had to put both pictures in here, not only cause it was too hard to make a choice, but mainly because Pumpkin is one beautiful and great, very extraordinary dog!
Lena Webb sent us two beautiful pictures of her blonde Lab puppy of about 6 months old right now. This is what Patricia shared with us about Chewy.
Chewy was born June 1 2004. When we got her, her eyes were so dark I could not tell the color. After a while they turned blue. Now they are a beautiful dark brown. Her mother and father were both black. Chewy has characteristics of both. She is an escape artist like her mom and a sweet companion like her dad. When she was still with the previous owner with her parents she was very sick. We took her to the vet and she got shots in her stomach every week. Now when we take her to the vet for vaccines and check up, she is edgy and shaky. She is a yellow lab with a dark brown stripe down her back and around the outside of her ears. She is an adorable friend. Lena, we would like to thank you for telling us more about Chewy and for sending us these great pictures. It was hard to pick one, but this is the one that made us go wowwwwww when we saw it.
